Dozens supported to return to work through “Employment for Everyone” program

Seventy individuals who have experienced a professional break are receiving support to re-enter the labor market through the "Employment for Everyone" program. This initiative is now in its second edition and is conducted by the Municipal Center for Adult Learning and Education. Participants benefit from professional training, mentoring, and counseling tailored to employment opportunities in fields that are currently in demand, according to Natalia Zaiaț, the head of the institution, who spoke on the "Zi de Zi" show on Radio Moldova.

The “Employment for Everyone” program, now in its second year, is designed for individuals who have interrupted their professional activities and wish to return to the workforce. According to Natalia Zaiaț, this year’s edition targets those who “for various reasons, have taken a break from employment and are looking to confidently re-enter the labor market.”

In 2026, participants will receive training in four professional fields: accounting, clothing design and manufacturing, social media management, and office management/administrative assistance. The program's director stated that these specializations were selected based on an analysis of employers' requirements and job listings, including those posted on social media.

“All four fields were chosen after careful examination of the labor market and job requests, as well as advertisements on social media,” explained Natalia Zaiaț.

The program runs for ten weeks and encompasses both professional training and skill development necessary for successful labor market integration. Participants benefit from individual and group mentoring sessions, as well as training focused on the employment process.

"It is an intensive, well-structured, and integrated course that includes professional training as well as employment preparation and mentoring sessions," said the head of the Municipal Center for Adult Learning and Education.

This program is aimed at individuals aged 30 to 55, particularly those who have temporarily been outside the labor market, including women on childcare leave or people who have faced difficult situations and require support for professional reintegration. Participants are guided by mentors who help them identify their career paths and boost their confidence for employment.

Although the institution does not have direct contracts with employers to place graduates, it has established partnerships with companies in the relevant fields, and their representatives participate in activities organized within the program.

"We invite employers to various activities within the program, where they discuss the current requirements of the labor market and the skills that are in demand," said Natalia Zaiaț.

Interest in the program has increased compared to last year. In the first edition, 53 individuals completed courses in three professional fields; this year, the number of participants increased to 70, and the educational offerings were diversified. According to Natalia Zaiaț, 166 people registered for the current edition, of which 70 participants were selected.

The head of the center emphasized that such initiatives are crucial in today’s labor market, as individuals undergoing professional reconversion need both technical skills and the personal and social skills necessary for employment.
