Edineț Industrial Park attracts businesses and creates jobs: "It cuts my costs"

Edineț Industrial Park has always focused on creating jobs, supporting local businesses, and attracting investment to northern Moldova. More than a decade later, it has become one of the region's leading economic drivers.
The Edineț Industrial Park was established to provide the region with more than just business premises. Its primary goals are the economic development of northern Moldova, job creation, and the utilization of local potential.
“The title of Industrial Park was granted in 2013 for a period of 30 years. Currently, six large companies with production facilities operate within the Industrial Park. These include companies from Ukraine that process apples and produce concentrated apple juice, a UK-based company manufacturing wiring products, and local companies that produce dried fruits and cardboard boxes. Additionally, there is a refrigerator facility for storing, sorting, and packaging fruit, as well as a company focused on producing europallets and larger containers for fruit. In the administrative block, we have smaller residents that offer various services, including a company that produces insulating glass products and another that provides design and architecture services,” said Artur Reșetnicov, the administrator of the Edineț Industrial Park.
One of the main advantages is the existing infrastructure for investors and the low operating costs.
“The first benefit of the Industrial Park is the pricing, which is significantly lower than market rates. This allows me to minimize expenses. I started six years ago, purchasing pre-fabricated structures and installing them. Eventually, we transitioned into manufacturing,” said Andrei, the founder of a company specializing in the production and installation of double-glazed doors and windows.
For entrepreneurs, the facilities provided within the Park offer an opportunity to invest more in development rather than administrative expenses. Some businesses have already expanded into foreign markets.
“We have been part of the Industrial Park since 2017. We handle interior and exterior design. My business partner is from Germany, and we primarily serve the European Union market. While we have completed a few specific projects in Edineț, our focus remains on the European market,” Vadim Roșca said.
“We have been based in the Industrial Park since 2017, where we focus on the storage, preservation, and sorting of apples and plums. We also have a functional dryer for drying plums during the season,” said Victor Vrabie.
Since its inception in 2013, the Edineț Industrial Park has attracted 17 residents and created hundreds of jobs. Authorities and investors are committed to further expanding the platform, encouraging more businesses to choose the northern part of the country for their development.
