British Foreign Minister James Cleverly to visit Chisinau
Moldovan Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu will host, in Chisinau, the Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, James Cleverly, who will pay a working visit to our country from 15 to 16 March.
Ministers Nicu Popescu and James Cleverly will hold a press conference on 16 March starting at 11:05.
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland were established on 17 January 1992.
Since 18 April 2016, the Republic of Moldova has benefited from British assistance through the Good Governance Fund. Funds are redirected to reform the most sensitive sectors, including the fight against corruption, improving the business environment, reform of the justice, financial-banking and energy sectors, and strengthening public administration.
