European Parliament to debate Russia's attempts to derail Moldova's pro-European trajectory

Today, the European Parliament will debate Russia's attempts to derail Moldova's pro-European course, writes caleaeuropeană.ro.

On the agenda of the plenary session, which began yesterday in Strasbourg, are the priorities of the spring European Council summit, Russia's attempts to derail Moldova's pro-European trajectory and three laws aimed at the 2030 climate target.

Against the backdrop of protests in Moldova, MEPs will debate the challenges facing our country this afternoon.

Moldovan President Maia Sandu recently warned that Russia wants to stage a coup, including through sabotage and fomenting civil unrest, as a way to stop the country's EU integration process.

MEPs will also present their demands and expectations ahead of the EU summit on 23-24 March.
