Capitalizing on the opportunities generated by demographic changes, as well as the key elements of the new Country Program of the UN Population Fund, were discussed by Prime Minister Dorin Recean with the resident representative of UNFPA Moldova, Nigina Abaszada, reads a press release issued by the Executive.
The officials referred to the main directions of cooperation in order to promote policies aimed at demographic well-being, gender equality, integration of aging. Aspects regarding the organization of the next census in the Republic of Moldova were also discussed.
We remind you that the Country Program of the UN Population Fund 2023-2027 aims to support women and young people in achieving their reproductive health and rights, building the demographic resilience of the country and the availability of quality data on population dynamics.
