LIVE// Maia Sandu's speech in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova
The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu came today to the plenary of the Parliament with a speech in front of the deputies, in which she appealed to all political forces to unconditionally support the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union. From the central tribune, to the applause of the deputies, the head of state declared that, in 2030, the Republic of Moldova must be a member country of the European Union.
"In 2030, the Republic of Moldova must be a member country of the European Union. Now is our real chance to become a full member, we have the support of the EU states. The Moldovans chose the European path. How quickly we will get there depends on us", declared the head of state.
