Tiraspol extends the yellow security alert code in the Transnistrian region
The security alert code yellow in the Transnistrian region has been extended for another 60 days. The decree was signed by the separatist leader from Tiraspol.
After a series of explosions that happened in the region, at the end of April last year, the authorities on the left of the Nistru declared a red alert code, and a month later it was lowered to yellow, since then the yellow code has been continuously extended.
Among the measures ordered is the obligation of citizens to register when moving through the so-called crossing points of Tiraspol, but also the intensification of the control of means of transport at the entrance and exit of the region, including those located in the stations on the left of the Nistru and the municipality of Tighina.
