Natalia Gavrilița could be the PAS candidate in the elections for the mayor of the capital
Former Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița is one of the possible PAS candidates for the post of Mayor of the Capital. The statement was made during the 23 March edition of TV8's "Black Box". The ex-premier also mentioned that several possible candidates are currently being discussed.
"We are discussing with colleagues, we have several people who would be suitable for this position. I am convinced that we have people who could do a better job than what is being done now in Chisinau. We discussed several candidates," Gavrilița said.
Earlier, Agriculture Minister Vladimir Bolea told TV8 that he had refused to be the PAS candidate in the autumn local elections and that Presidential Secretary General Andrei Spînu would have done the same.
Local elections could be held in late October, early November 2023.
