Assets worth over 100 million lei seized by the NAC

The National Anti-Corruption Centre seized assets worth more than 100 million lei last week.

Assets worth about 45 million lei were seized by the NAC's Criminal Asset Recovery Agency on the basis of delegations from prosecutors. These include 3 share capitals, 3 residential premises, a residential building and 2 building plots.

In addition, the Directorate General for Public Prosecutions, together with prosecutors, seized assets worth approximately 60 million lei in two criminal cases.

According to the NAC, investigators are currently handling 336 cases.
