The deadline for paying the wealth tax for the current year is December 26, announces the State Fiscal Service, which specifies that payment bills were sent to taxpayers.

According to the quoted source, the wealth tax is applied to residential real estate and holiday homes, with the exception of land, the total value of which is 1.5 million lei and more, and the total area is 120 m2 and more. The wealth tax can also be paid online, through the government's MPay electronic payment service, the institution states.
