CNAS has funded the first tranche of pensions and social allowances for April
The National Social Insurance House (CNAS) has funded the first instalment of pensions and social allowances for April. It is worth 73 million lei.
People who receive pensions and social allowances by post, with payment dates of 1 and 2 April, can go to any post office in the country to collect their money.
At the same time, according to CNAS, during April, money will be transferred for all types of social benefits, such as pensions, financial support, allowances, unemployment benefits, etc.
From 1 April, social security benefits and state social benefits will be indexed by 15%. Thus, the amount of the minimum old-age pension will be 2,620.62 lei.
According to a draft decision, the indexation coefficient will apply only to the part of the pension that does not exceed the average monthly salary in the economy, which this year is 11,700 lei.
Another draft stipulates that, after indexation, the level of the guaranteed minimum monthly income will be 1,568 lei for an adult and 1,631 lei for a child.
