The authorities will soon publish the information on natural gas stocks of the Republic of Moldova
Information regarding purchases, available natural gas stocks, purchased volumes will be made public, at the latest, at the beginning of next week. The assurance comes from the Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov, and was made during the program "La 360 de grade" from Radio Moldova. At the same time, the official stated that our country still has enough natural gas stocks.
"Not all information is classified (..). We will publish everything we can publish, in terms of volumes, prices, stocks. This information will be public. Now we prepare the materials. Early next week at the latest. What we cannot communicate, will not be communicated. Believe me, the information that is not classified, regarding volumes, prices, deliveries, lead times, stocks, I think is enough to make a conclusion."
At the same time, Victor Parlicov said that next year there will be a gas purchase policy.
We remind you that since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the Russian Federation has reduced the supply of natural gas to our country. In order to ensure the creation and maintenance of security stocks and the provision of stored natural gas, the Joint Stock Company "Energocom" concludes the necessary agreements and contracts with storage depot operators, including from neighboring countries, countries that are part of the Energy Community and member states of the European Union.
Natural gas is stored in warehouses in Ukraine and Romania.
