Ala Nemerenco: Modernizing the healthcare system is one of the priorities of the Chisinau authorities
The modernization of the healthcare system is one of the priorities of the authorities in Chisinau, said relevant minister Ala Nemerenco, on the occasion of World Health Day. During an event organized today in the "Ștefan cel Mare" Public Garden, the Minister of Health noted the importance of equipping medical centers. Ala Nemerenco also said that the citizens of our country still do not have full access to quality medical services, but the decision-makers must take all measures to have a modern healthcare system.
"Even though many countries have succeeded in building fairly healthy healthcare systems, half of the world's population still lacks sufficient access to essential healthcare services. The Republic of Moldova is not an exception, politicians, decision-makers must do everything in their power to have a modern healthcare system. Medical workers should offer high-quality services and have a special attitude towards the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, to have access to essential medical services. We need to inform the citizens what it means to eat healthy, to reduce the consumption of salt and sugar".
We remind you that yesterday, the World Health Organization (WHO) also marked its 75th anniversary, together with its 194 member states and other partners, calling for a renewed push for cooperation and equity in healthcare.
