Survey: Radio Moldova and Moldova 1 TV, leaders on the media market in the Republic of Moldova
Moldovans primarily get their news from social media, television, and online news sites, according to the latest audience study. More than half of the respondents access social media platforms daily for news, while nearly half watch television news every day. Radio remains a reliable source, maintaining a steady audience, although it is smaller compared to television and the Internet. In contrast, printed newspapers are facing a significant decline; very few people read them daily, and most respondents indicate that they no longer turn to them for information.
