US House of Representatives condemns Russia for shooting down US Air Force drone

The US House of Representatives on Monday unanimously approved a resolution condemning and holding Russia accountable for its aggression in shooting down a US Air Force drone over the Black Sea in March, Hotnews.ro reports.

A Russian fighter jet forced down a US Air Force drone over the Black Sea on 14 March after damaging the propeller of the US MQ-9 Reaper drone, according to the US military.

The Reaper drone and two Russian Su-27 jets were flying over international waters above the Black Sea when one of the Russian jets intentionally flew in front of the unmanned drone and dropped fuel on it several times, a statement from US European Command said.
