Natural gas stocks stored in Ukraine are out of any danger, Radu Marian

The natural gas stocks that belong to the Republic of Moldova and are stored in Ukraine are out of any danger, the vice-president of the Economy, Budget and Finance Commission, Radu Marian, said today. He mentioned that the stocks are hundreds of meters deep and are close to our country.

"We store natural gas both in Romania and Ukraine. These natural gases are stored under hundreds of meters of earth, clay, sand, which are out of any danger and are stored near the Republic of Moldova. Someone in the opposition is afraid that these gases could be stolen. The only ones who can steal these gases are the Russians," said Radu Marian.

Previously, the president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, was indignant that our country is storing natural gas bought from Gazprom in Ukraine. In response, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița said that the Republic of Moldova is a sovereign state and decides for itself where to store the gas it procures.
