Maia Sandu met with the members of the Commission for the Extraordinary Evaluation of Judges

The evaluation of judges is an important stage in the progress of the reform and will contribute to restoring people's trust in the integrity of judges and legal institutions, said the Head of State Maia Sandu, during the meeting with the members of the Commission for Extraordinary Evaluation of Judges.

"The modernization of the country, economic growth and the acceleration of our EU accession process depend to a great extent on the transformation and cleansing of the justice sector from corruption. In order for this process to be effective and fast, the involvement of the entire society is also needed, especially the judges who do their work honestly", stated Maia Sandu.
