UPDATE Accident in Ukraine involving a coach on the Balti-Odessa route. No Moldovan citizens among the injured
UPDATE 12:23 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration informs that on 16 July, at around 23:45, on the Odessa-Reni route, near the village of Maiaki, there was a road accident involving a coach registered in Ukraine. It was travelling on the Odessa - Balti route. As a result of the accident, 11 people were injured, including six children. All of them are citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation, the source added. There are no Moldovan citizens among the injured.
Original news: A bus carrying 25 passengers on the Balti-Odessa route collided with a truck last night. As a result, 11 people were injured, including 6 children, Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported.
The accident took place on 17 July at 00:30 near the village of Mayaki, Odessa region.
"The driver of the Odessa-Balti passenger bus collided with a truck. As a result of the accident, 11 people were injured, including 6 children," the State Emergency Service reported.
It is not yet clear whether Moldovan citizens were on the bus. Contacted by radiomoldova.md, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration did not provide a response.
