Moldova braces for hottest days of the year
Moldovan meteorologists have issued a new yellow heat code for the whole country, warning of temperatures up to +36°C in the coming days.
The code is in effect from August 22 to August 28. During this period, the maximum air temperature is expected to reach +33...+36°C.
The population is urged to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, to wear clothes made of natural fibres, to hydrate and to eat fresh fruit and vegetables.
Today, variable skies are expected, especially without precipitation. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest and atmospheric pressure will be normal. Temperatures will range from 32 to 36 degrees.
