Russia uses newly produced weapons to attack Ukraine
In August 2023, the Russian military used missiles that were launched in the third quarter of this year to attack Ukraine, said Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, quoted by Ukrainkaia Pravda.
“We see that the same strikes that are being carried out now, especially starting in May, what is being produced at their enterprises, goes immediately to the army and is used immediately in our state,” Skibitsky emphasised.
According to him, the Russian Federation has transformed its economy into a military system, thus increasing its efforts to produce so-called high-tech weapons.
In the meantime, intelligence services have emphasised that, in order to stop Russian attacks, it is necessary to neutralise the production of parts used for military purposes. This would involve closing all channels of supply to Russia from other countries and destroying enterprises that produce deadly weapons.
