60 Moldovan parties eligible to participate in November local elections
Sixty political parties in Moldova are eligible to participate in the local general elections scheduled for November 5, 2023. The list was published by the Central Election Commission (CEC).
According to electoral legislation, political parties that are registered before the election date have the right to nominate candidates.
In the November elections, 898 mayors and 11,058 local councils will be elected.
The number of voters included in the State Register of Voters as of September 1, 2023, was 3,300,805.
