Moldovan vice prime minister to discuss Transnistrian issue in Brussels
Moldovan Vice Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian will discuss the Transnistrian issue with European Union officials in Brussels on September 13-15.
The main topics of discussion will be the role of the EU in the settlement process, regional challenges, and the impact of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
Serebrian will meet with EU Ambassador Michael Siebert and Dorotha Dlouchy-Suliga, the EU's representative in the "5+2" format. He will also participate in a debate moderated by Ambassador Delphine Pronk at the EU's Political and Security Committee.
Serebrian's visit to Brussels is part of Moldova's efforts to secure the EU's support for the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict.
