Dumitru Alaiba announces when the first version of the EVO government application could be presented
The first version of the EVO application will be presented this fall, said the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba. According to the official, the management of this process is a very complicated one, but the representatives of the ministry work on it daily. Dumitru Alaiba also emphasized that it will be an application that will constantly evolve.
"The very way this app is designed, it will be constantly evolving. There will always be new things, new ideas, new functionalities, new applications, new needs from people and entrepreneurs. We plan to have the first version already this autumn, after which we will continue to develop it together", said the minister.
Through the EVO government application, users will have access to a wide range of electronic services, using the electronic identity. This includes access to own documents and electronic public services, information of public interest and personal data, stored in various state registers.
The implementation of the application will be carried out with the support of the Future Technologies Project financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Sweden and Great Britain, the estimated cost is about 3.5 million lei.
