The weather is changing radically in the Republic of Moldova. On Saturday day and Sunday night, the territory of the country will be crossed by a southern cyclone that will bring precipitation, the State Hydrometeorological Service informs. There will be isolated heavy rain in the southern and central areas, while in the north the precipitation will turn into sleet.
„During the cyclone, there will be wind gusts in most of the territory. After it passes, the wind will blow in a moderate way”, SHS says .
On Monday, November 20, temperatures will drop to -1..-6°C.
In this context, the elected mayor of the capital, Ion Ceban, announces that the municipal services are already in the field and will intervene if necessary. At the same time, he urged citizens to avoid high-risk flood areas as well as not to park cars under trees.
We remind that the State Hydrometeorological Service issued yellow code of wind and strong rain. The warning is valid until November 19.
