Sports tourism has become increasingly popular recently. Events combining sports and tourism are organized in the Republic of Moldova, too. One of them has been organized recently. Professional athletes, as well as amateurs, met in Nisporeni, on Balanesti Hill - the highest point in the Republic of Moldova, to rediscover the tourist potential at home, but also to inspire more people to practice sports.
