PAS deputies, summoned to the Presidency
The deputies of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) fraction were summoned by the head of state Maia Sandu to the Presidency. Images in this sense were captured by journalists and published online. The reason for their meeting has not yet been announced.
We remind that this is not the first visit of PAS deputies to the Presidency. Previously they were convened to discuss topical issues. In the meantime, we mention that today the deputies gathered in an extraordinary session in which they approved several draft laws. One of them refers to amendments to the Electoral Code, a project that was sent for review by the head of state.
The opposition boycotted the meeting.
