Moldova Seeks Japanese Medical Equipment Upgrade
Moldova's Health Minister Ala Nemerenco discussed opportunities to equip medical institutions with modern Japanese equipment, reads a statement of the Ministry of Health.
The meeting included Japanese Ambassador Yamada Yoichiro and two Japanese business representatives.
During the discussions, Nemerenco expressed her gratitude for Japan's ongoing support of developing Moldova's healthcare system.
Ambassador Yoichiro emphasised Japan's commitment to supporting Moldova's medical services by providing access to advanced technologies.
The Japanese business representatives expressed interest in collaborating and supplying state-of-the-art medical equipment.
"The Ministry of Health and Japanese Embassy will continue discussions to modernise medical infrastructure for the benefit of the population," the statement said.
