PHOTO // Protest at the Embassy of the Russian Federation: "We seek justice for Ukraine"

Dozens of people came in the morning in front of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova to protest against Russia's invasive policy in relation to Ukraine and other states. The organizers of the civic action, Amnesty International, say that they have documented numerous atrocities committed by Russia in the last 10 years in Ukraine.

People say they came to the protest to condemn Vladimir Putin's war crimes in Ukraine and demand fair justice for Ukraine and an end to Russian aggression.

Atrocities documented by Amnesty International include the deliberate targeting of civilians and critical civilian infrastructure, enforced disappearances, extrajudicial executions, torture, unlawful deprivation of liberty, forced transfers of civilians and abuse of prisoners of war.

We remind you that today marks two years since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and in this regard, several civic actions will take place in Chisinau in the context of the two years of Russian aggression in the neighboring country.
