People who come with cars from Ukraine will pay the tax for using the roads
People who have cars not registered in the Republic of Moldova, but enter the territory of our country, or who transit it from Ukraine, will pay the tax for using the roads of the Republic of Moldova. The rule applies starting today, January 10.
Thus, the authorities decided to return to normal conditions for carrying out transport from and to Ukraine, including for refugees.
For the first entry of the car and trailer into the territory of the Republic of Moldova for a period of 180 days, a vignette of 85 euros is paid. For the following consecutive periods, the fee of 180 euros must be paid.
An exception to the rule regarding the payment of the tax for the use of roads, according to the law, are the vehicles of diplomatic missions accredited in Moldova, as well as those cars whose owners officially declare to the representative of the customs service that they are importing a car for import.
