Air Travel Woes: Multiple Flights Diverted Due to Turbulence
Twelve passengers on a Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Dublin were injured when the plane encountered turbulence while flying over Turkey, according to a report from DW and Dublin Airport.
The incident occurred on May 26th. The plane landed safely at Dublin Airport at 1:00 PM local time, as scheduled. Police, firefighters, and paramedics were waiting at the airport to assist the injured passengers and crew members. Airport staff are providing full support to those affected, according to a statement issued by Dublin Airport.
This incident comes five days after a Singapore Airlines flight from London to Singapore was forced to land in Bangkok due to severe turbulence.
