Energocom purchased first natural gas from the Balkan Gas Hub in Bulgaria

Joint-stock company Energocom purchased natural gas for the first time from the Balkan Gas Hub in Bulgaria, the purchase being carried out as a test. The volume of 24 MWh will be delivered to the Republic of Moldova on Wednesday, May 29.

The company has access to several international exchanges and holds a license to supply natural gas in Bulgaria, but also in the countries through which the procured gas will reach Moldova.

This allows SA Energocom to purchase and to transport gas independently, thus diversifying the country's supply sources and offering the possibility of procuring gas at competitive prices.

The amusement park "Găgăuzia Land," located in the village of Congaz, continues to operate without a permit. Despite this, the park launched its winter holiday festivities on the evening of December 20. The police have concluded two criminal cases related to the park, which have been sent to the court. Viorel Cernăuțeanu, the head of the IGP, stated that only local authorities have the power to halt the park's operations. Meanwhile, the mayor of Congaz said that he is awaiting the court's final decision regarding the matter.
