A woman died after she was hit by a car in Frumușica village
A 66-year-old woman died after she hit by a car while crossing the street irregularly. The case happened in Frumușica village, Chisinau municipality. The victim was transported to the hospital, and as a result of the injuries, she died.
According to the police, the accident happened today, around 10:15, while the woman was crossing the street irregularly. At the scene, the police established that a 33-year-old man, driving a Dacia Logan, outside the pedestrian crossing, bumped the woman, who was initially crossing the road irregularly.
The driver was not intoxicated following the test.
A criminal case was opened on the case for the violation of traffic safety rules or the use of means of transport by the person driving the means of transport resulting in the death of a person.
The police remind pedestrians not to cross the street irregularly, because they risk their lives, not to pass in front or behind stopped vehicles.
