Child Critical After Orhei Crash

A one-year-old girl was critically injured in a traffic accident on the evening of July 21st in Orhei, Moldova.

The critically injured child was transported by Aviasan medical transport to the Mother and Child Institute in the capital city, Chișinău. Doctors are currently monitoring her multiple injuries sustained in the accident.

Maxim Cazacu, spokesperson for the Mother and Child Institute, confirmed the details of the incident.

Separately, a 34-year-old man tragically died in the same accident that occurred on the R6 highway between Chișinău, Orhei, and Bălți. Police at the scene determined that a 20-year-old driver struck the man as he crossed the road in an unlit area while carrying his one-year-old child.
