Natalia Gavrilița and the representatives of Finland and Romania discussed the European agenda of the Republic of Moldova

The European agenda of the Republic of Moldova, the economic development as well as the reforms undertaken by the Government, have been discussed by the Head of the Executive Natalia Gavrilița with the Minister of European Affairs and State Property from Finland, Tytti Tuppuraine and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Romania, Daniela Gîtman.

Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița declared during the meeting that the main objectives for the year 2023 are the fulfilment of the conditionalities submitted by the European Commission and the process of reforming the justice system.

According to the Head of the Executive, in the last year, concrete and decisive steps were taken in the segment of deoligarization of the country, an example in this sense being the return of the bus stations and the International Airport under the state’s control.

The Minister of European Affairs and State Property from Finland, Tytti Tuppurainen, reconfirmed Finland's support in the process of meeting the European Commission's conditionality and expressed her confidence that, in a short time, the Republic of Moldova will start the accession negotiations to the EU bloc.

The Secretary of State for European Affairs within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Daniela Gîtman, appreciated the decision of the Government in Chisinau to find solutions to overcome the crises and urged the authorities to count on the support of Romania and the European community.
