Igor Grosu participates in the 4th Summit of the Crimea Platform
The Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, participates in the 4th Summit of the Crimea Platform. The event is hosted by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and takes place in Kyiv.
The summit, which brings together official delegations from several countries, will address topics related to the current security situation in Ukraine. The Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, will deliver a speech at the Summit in which he will refer to the consequences of the Russian military aggression on Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, but also to the efforts to integrate the two countries into the great European family, to contribute to the climate of peace and European security.
The Summit of the Crimea Platform aims to strengthen the international community's efforts to restore Ukraine's territorial integrity, to draw attention to the situation in Ukraine and violations of international law by the Russian Federation. The Summit discusses legal, economic, political and humanitarian ways to bring Crimea back under Ukrainian control.
The first Summit of the Crimea Platform took place in 2021, and the event was attended by delegates from 43 countries, as well as the leadership of the European Council, the European Commission, the Council of Europe, NATO and GUAM.
