Serious accident in Cahul: The driver, taken out of the car by rescuers
A serious road accident occurred on the night of October 8, near Lebedenco, Cahul district. A vehicle skidded and crashed violently into a tree. Following the impact, the 43-year-old driver was trapped inside.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), rescuers intervened on the scene with special equipment to extricate him and remove him safely. The man, who suffered multiple traumas, was handed over to the emergency medical team and was transported to the district hospital for treatment.
According to the authorities, the cause of the accident is not yet known and is to be determined.
