Study in Moldova: Boost university enrollment

The national campaign promoting university studies, "Study in Moldova," arrived in Soroca. Over a thousand young people from northern Moldova gathered in the square near the fortress.
The event's objective is for six out of ten high school graduates to continue their studies at universities in the Republic of Moldova. The Ministry of Education also aims for at least a seven percent increase in next year's student admissions compared to this year, which would mean 17,000 students enrolled in the first year.
The "Study in Moldova" campaign runs from March to May. It includes a series of interactive and informative activities designed to bring higher education institutions closer to future students.

We're here to present all our offerings: study programs with both state funding and tuition, full-time and part-time options, to encourage our future graduates to stay here at home.
We represent the Military Academy of the Armed Forces. We guarantee job placement, a crucial factor today. The program lasts three years.
Students had the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops where they discovered the specifics of various university specializations. The activities helped them navigate the choice of their future profession more easily:
I came to this fair today from the Pedagogical College to explore new career perspectives and to study here at home.
I am interested in several fields, primarily in computer science and technology, and also in business and education. I found many opportunities, especially at the State University of Moldova.
I visited all the booths, all the universities, and I was very impressed. Each university has something to offer. They encouraged us to stay and continue our education here.
"New technological laboratories have been established for specialized programs, new learning spaces have been created, and dormitories have been renovated. Our universities have over 35 collaboration agreements with similar institutions abroad," stated Galina Rusu, State Secretary at the Ministry of Education and Research.
According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, nearly 59,000 students are currently studying at universities in the country, about three thousand more compared to the previous academic year.
