The 10th session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly will be inaugurated today in Chisinau
The inauguration of the 10th session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly will take place today in Chisinau. Around a hundred officials from Eastern Partnership countries and members of the European Parliament are participating in the 10th session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly (AP Euronest), which is being held these days in Chisinau.
Topics discussed include the consequences of the Russian Federation's invasion of Ukraine, security challenges, economic integration, and energy security. The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova hosts for the first time the session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. It started with committee meetings. Within them, the reports on political affairs, economic integration, energy security and social aspects were adopted. Other subjects discussed by the reputies concerned the progress made by the Republic of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine in the European course, as well as the fight against disinformation in the Eastern Partnership countries.
