A Russian soldier who fought in Ukraine, returned home from the airport in Chisinau. He was on his way to Tiraspol
A Russian serviceman, who is believed to have taken part in the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine, and was on his way to Tiraspol, has turned back at Chisinau airport. Border police claim the soldier submitted false declarations, trying to mislead inspectors.
"Following the interview, he made a confusing statement, trying to mislead Border Police inspectors on the front line. The person in question was not allowed to cross the state border and was returned by air to the state of departure," the Border Police announced.
According to the authorities, in the last 24 hours alone, 24 foreign citizens have been refused entry to Moldova.
