SA Energocom signed a framework contract with the Greek gas operator DEPA
SA Energocom signed, in Athens, a framework contract with the Greek gas operator DEPA. Also. the company from Greece is going to help Energocom with experience in the gas industry. The event took place during the visit to Greece of the Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov, and the interim director of SA Energocom, Victor Bânzari.
Greece is currently a strategic point of affordable energy sources. It has one liquefied natural gas terminal and the second will be ready at the end of the year. According to the interim director of SA Energocom, Victor Bânzari, in this terminal, traders from the region bring gas from several geographical points – the East, the United States, Africa, and the prices are advantageous. This contract precedes any purchase-sale contract and is binding between companies in the European Union.
