"The delegation of the Republic of Moldova comes to the European Parliament not only to express its desire for accession, but also to show the concrete steps it has taken and continues to take for this purpose. We come to show that we are a reliable partner. The Republic of Moldova currently has a window of opportunity to advance in its relationship with the EU. It is important that through contacts established and developed by Moldovan parliamentarians, through the expertise we can take over from our partners, we can multiply the effects of national efforts", said Igor Grosu.

The Head of the Legislative from Chisinau emphasized that the Republic of Moldova has made significant progress in fulfilling the recommendations formulated in the European Commission's Opinion, three of the nine having already been fully fulfilled. We remind that the study visit takes place within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the European Parliament and the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, signed in November 2021.

This program includes training, including online, study visits, internships.
