The President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, had a phone conversation on Tuesday. The Ukrainian president announced, after the phone conversation, that Romania is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine, reports Ukrainska Pravda.
According to the source, the leader from Kiev said that he informed the President of Romania about the current situation on the battle front and about the fundamental defense needs of Ukraine.
At the same time, the Ukrainian president thanked Klaus Iohannis for confirming his participation in the Peace Summit in Switzerland, as well as for his willingness to make efforts "to encourage the participation of other countries."
