An Israeli citizen, on the Tel Aviv-Chisinau flight, tried to illegally introduce a batch of medicines into the Republic of Moldova.

The case was registered by the officials of the Chisinau International Airport customs post, after carrying out the specialized control of passengers' luggage from the Tel Aviv-Chisinau route.

Following the customs control, in the luggage of the 39-year-old Israeli citizen, drugs and medical accessories in commercial quantities, undeclared to the customs body, were found.

According to the Customs Service, the goods were seized and are subject to confiscation, and the person risks being penalized.
