After a break of three years, the Peace Corps volunteers are returning to our country
Peace Corps volunteers will return to the Republic of Moldova after a three-year break, whose activity in our country was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The announcement was made today by US Ambassador to Chisinau Kent D Logsdon, who noted that the first group of volunteers will arrive before the end of the year.
"This is great news for the entire Peace Corps community in the Republic of Moldova and a great way to mark the 30th anniversary of the Peace Corps in Moldova."
The Peace Corps is a non-political US government agency founded to support developing nations and to promote friendship and peace in the world.
