The EU offered 23 million euros, grants for the development of Ungheni and Cahul districts

The European Union offered almost 23 million euros in grants to the Republic of Moldova through the "EU4Moldova: Key Regions" program. Thus, financial resources are used to support economic, territorial and social cohesion in Ungheni and Cahul districts.

A fire broke out this morning at the railway station in Sipoteni, Călărași district. The fire involved the engine section of the train stationed at the station, which was running on the route Chisinau - Iași (Socola). Railway employees evacuated more than 70 people from inside the train.
