One of Tiraspol's opposition leaders, the leader of the Communist Party of the breakaway region, Oleg Horjan, was reportedly shot dead in his home today. This was announced by the chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Gennady Zyuganov, and the leader of the Civic Congress of the Republic of Moldova, Mark Tkachuk. The information was also confirmed by the Moldovan police.
