Ballot papers for the second round of presidential elections are printed
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has started printing ballot papers for the second round of the November 3 presidential election, intended for polling stations abroad. Thus, 839,200 ballot papers will be printed, of which 768,850 - in Romanian, 69,850 - in Russian and 500 in Gagauz.
Over 31 thousand elderly people will benefit from a one-off allowance of 2,300 lei
Elderly people with a contribution period of over 40 years and minimum pension will receive a one-off allowance of 2300 lei. The Parliament's external political commission approved today the opinion on the conclusion of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labour, the World Food Program and the International Organization for Migration regarding the provision of assistance to vulnerable families in our country.
CEC set the date of the second round of the presidential elections
The second round of the presidential elections will take place on Sunday, November 3. A decision to this effect was approved by the Central Electoral Commission, after following the election of October 20, 2024, none of the candidates for the position of President of the Republic of Moldova scored at least half of the voters' votes.

The Cabinet approved a draft that provides for the implementation of the “e-Dossier".
