The Republic of Moldova is building high voltage lines to ensure stable connections with Romania
Connections with Romania are made through the construction of the Vulcănești-Chișinău high-voltage line, which bypasses the Moldovan power plant in the Transnistrian region. Moreover, the resources from the Republic of Moldova have already been allocated for the Balti-Suceava line and the feasibility study is being prepared for the construction of the Străseni-Iași power line, said the Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov, at the Romanian Energy Symposium, which is being held in between September 11-13, in Bucharest.
